• Profile information: Avatar image, genre preferences, location, social media handles, and biography that you choose to add to your DJ profile.

• Communications data: When we send you emails or SMS messages (such as account invitations, notifications, or updates), we collect delivery and engagement information.

• Create and manage your account, including DJ profiles and tournament participation.
• Send you transactional communications such as account invitations, password resets, and battle notifications via email or SMS.

4. SMS and Email Communications

Opt-in: Users opt in to receive SMS messages by providing their phone number and checking an explicit consent checkbox on our signup form at djleague.com/dj/signup. This checkbox is unchecked by default and requires affirmative action to enable SMS communications. By opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from DJ League related to your account and our Service. These may include:

• Account verification and invitation messages.
• Event reminders and battle invites.
• Tournament and battle notifications.
• Important platform alerts and service updates.

Frequency & rates: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message or contacting us at Logan@DJLeague.com. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to use the Service, but you may miss time-sensitive notifications.

Service providers: We use Twilio for SMS delivery and Resend for email delivery. These providers process your contact information solely to deliver messages on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies.

No sharing: We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your phone number, SMS opt-in consent, or any SMS-related data with any third parties or affiliates for any purpose, except as strictly necessary for message delivery through our service providers listed above.

5. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with the following third-party platforms:

• Twitch: DJ battles are streamed via Twitch. When you watch a battle, Twitch's embedded player is loaded in your browser, subject to Twitch's own privacy policy.
• Twilio: Used to send SMS notifications. Your phone number is shared with Twilio solely for message delivery.
• Resend: Used to send transactional emails. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for email delivery.
• Convex: Our backend database and real-time infrastructure provider. Your data is stored and processed by Convex in accordance with their privacy policy.
• Umami: We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how the Service is used. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing our terms).

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
