By accessing or using DJ League at djleague.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DJ League ("we," "us," or "our").
DJ League is a competitive DJ battle platform where DJs stream live sets via Twitch and compete in tournament-style brackets. Viewers watch battles, join teams, and influence scores through their participation. The Service includes tournament management, real-time scoring, chat, powerup mechanics, and leaderboard features.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
To participate as a DJ, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including your name, email address, and phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
By creating an account and providing your contact information, you may consent to receive SMS communications from DJ League. SMS consent is collected via an explicit, unchecked checkbox on our signup form at djleague.com/dj/signup. Messages may include account notifications, tournament updates, battle alerts, and promotional messages. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message or clicking the unsubscribe link in emails. Opting out of transactional messages (e.g., password resets, account invitations) is not available as they are necessary for the operation of the Service. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
You agree not to use the Service to:
DJs are solely responsible for the content they stream during battles, including music selection and on-stream behavior. You represent that you have all necessary rights and licenses to stream the content you play. DJ League does not control and is not responsible for DJ streams, which are hosted on Twitch and subject to Twitch's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are owned by DJ League and are protected by intellectual property laws. Our trademarks, logos, and trade names may not be used without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of content you upload (such as avatar images and profile information), but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.
The Service relies on third-party platforms including Twitch (for streaming), Twilio (for SMS notifications), and others. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DJ League shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users or the Service, or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
